Amerindian Petroglyphs, Unique Selling Proposition for Innovation in Montserrat Tourism
Established by Friends of Montserrat in 1970 under The Montserrat National Trust Ordinance, the Montserrat National Trust is a Non-Government Organization (NGO) dedicated to the conservation and protection of the environment and the preservation of Montserrat’s Natural and Historic Heritage. Over the past years it has contributed significantly to the education and to the enhancement of the island’s beauty and Tourist attractions.
Thanks to the Small Innovation Project, the Montserrat National Trust gets assistance to establish Amerindian Petroglyphs as Unique Selling Proposition for Innovation in Montserrat Tourism. The project will engage an Archaeologist expert in studying Amerindian Petroglyphs, explore, design and develop suitable trail access to the area to allow visitors access to the site and develop education and promotion programmes using research information on history petroglyphs, flora, and fauna of Montserrat and create materials specifically for the education and enjoyment of children, adults and visitors to Montserrat as books, brochures, workbooks, colouring books, worksheets, maps. On this way Montserrat should develop Amerindian Petroglyphs as Unique Selling Proposition for Innovation in Montserrat Tourism.
